Set in 19th-century London, this thrilling and chilling musical tells the story of barber Benjamin Barker, also known as Sweeney Todd, and his revenge on the corrupt Judge Turpin who falsely accused and exiled him for fifteen years. When the bloodthirsty Sweeney joins forces with the failing pie shop proprietress, Mrs. Lovett, the two introduce a new ingredient to Lovett's meat pies that sends the people of Fleet Street straight to the shop and new victims to Sweeney's barber chair.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler, the show has been a musical theatre staple, winning a slew of Tony Awards (including Best Musical) and inspiring the Tim Burton-directed film starring Johnny Depp.

The Robertson County Players production of Sweeney Todd includes cast members Deron Martel, Shelby Andal, Seth Brown, Michael Green, Emma Puerta, Elizabeth Golden, Andrew Kaufman, Shane Shoemaker, Daniel Turner, Amber Deforest, Sydney Mayhew, Sarah Farrell, Katie Krantz, Elijah Golden, Lucy Shea, and Kristin King.

Tickets are $15 in advance for the general public, $10 for students, and $18 at the door. Tickets are available through www.ticketsnashville.com.
