After the turkey and stuffing are put away on Thanksgiving night, bring your out-of-town guests to Historic Downtown Clarksville for family entertainment sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

Mark and Ricki Holleman proudly present A CHRISTMAS CAROL: The Musical at the Roxy Regional Theatre, opening Thursday, November 28, at 7:00pm.

In keeping with the theatre's traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 6:30pm that evening for a $5 minimum donation. Due to the double casting of children in the production, a second pay-what-you-can night will be held at 7:30pm on Friday, November 29.

Ebenezer Scrooge and his ghostly encounters come to life in this lavish and thrilling musical adaptation, based on Charles Dickens' most well-known story and written by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens, along with Mike Ockrent.

Jonathan Fluck stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, an affluent curmudgeon who places personal wealth above the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

Directed and choreographed by Ryan Bowie, the cast also features Bowie and Yarissa Tiara Millan as Mr. & Mrs. Cratchit; Caleb Crosby as Tiny Tim; Matthew Combs as Fred; Geoffrey F. Belliston, Kelsey McCollaum and Ian Alexander Erbe as the Ghosts of Christmases Present, Past and Future; David Graham as Jacob Marley; and Howard M. Snyder and Ann Gwinn as Mr. & Mrs. Fezziwig; along with Kole Mitchell McKinley and Caitie L. Moss. Rounding out the cast are local youth Claire Baumgardner, Kate Baumgardner, Elisabeth Carroccia, Alia Chapman, Makenzie Clyde, Lydia Crawley, Mackenzie Davis, Mikaila Delaney, Hayden Gilbreath, Theresa Graham, Bella Johnston, Marlie McCall, Charlie Olita and Lillie Rich.

On Friday, December 6, patrons are invited to ring in the season at the ninth annual "Christmas Over The Cumberland" at F&M Bank's Franklin Room, featuring a holiday dinner, festivities and meet-and-greet with the cast. The evening's menu includes slow roasted beef au jus, grilled chicken with white wine and garlic sauce, mashed sweet potatoes with pecans, country style green beans, rolls, house salad and assorted holiday desserts. Doors open at 6:00pm, with dinner served at 6:30pm, followed by the 8:00pm performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Roxy Regional Theatre. Tickets are $50, including the show. Reservation deadline is November 29.
