Faced with global warming, a survival warm-up: producing electricity with your body, thanks to a bicycle connected to a battery. Alone on stage, Mykalle Bielinski pedals so that there is a show, but until when? Confronted with collapses, she explores the declines necessary to avoid exhaustion and heal. Between sporting performance, manifesto, concert and meditation, Warm up denounces the exploitations allowed by overconsumption and outlines the borders of a sustainable ecology where nature is no longer just a resource. Because the overheating of bodies is correlative to the overheating of the planet, it will not be enough to decarbonize, it will be necessary to practice transformation.Mykalle Bielinski composes songs, poems and music, interprets them and stages them. Her works, Gloria (2015), Mythe (2018) and Warm up (2021), are immersive and meditative concerts that honor the being and the sacred. Her musical territory is inspired by liturgical traditions and combines voice with electro-acoustic tones to arouse delight. Trainee at Eugenio Barbas Odin Teatret and a graduate in acting from the cole Suprieure de thtre of UQAM, she has performed as an actress and composer in Quebec, Canada, and in several European countries. Her first collection of poetry, Mythe, preceded by Gloria, was released by ditions du Passage in 2021. She is preparing an album of songs for 2022.IDEATION, TEXT, CONCEPTION, PERFORMANCE: MYKALLE BIELINSKI | DRAMATURGY: MYRIAM STPHANIE PERRATON LAMBERT | TECHNICAL DIRECTION: GABRIEL DUQUETTE | STAGING COLLABORATION: DITH PATENAUDE | OUTSIDE EYES: HUGO DALPHOND, EVE TAGNY | CREATED WITH THE SUPPORT OF: AUX CURIES, LA BELLONE BRUXELLES, LA SERRE ARTS VIVANTS, RURART | CO-PRODUCTION: LA CHAPELLE SCNES CONTEMPORAINESTeaser : youtu.be/mnbyD7qMaqQ
