Born in Calcutta, Prattyush Banerjee was brought up in a rich musical ambience amidst distinguished artistes. Prattyush has been performing in public since he was 11 and has featured at major venues in India and around the globe.
Prattyush belongs to the Senia Shahjahanpur gharana. He is taking sarod playing to new levels. His highly individualistic approach of playing is marked by a solid technique and a rare musical sensibility that has evolved through constant absorption from various genres of music. He is also a keen student of western music and plays the piano.
Indranil Mallick, a promising tabla player of rare skill, has already established himself both as a soloist and accompanist.
Born to a family of genuine music connoisseurs, he received his initial training in tabla when he was only five. Indranil belongs to Luckhnow Gharana style of tabla. He is a grade 'A' artist of All India Radio, Kolkata where he is featured regularly on programs aired throughout India.
