The Keeper at Rise Theatre Collective

Written by Sina A. Suren, “The Keeper” is a multidisciplinary ensemble play, inspired by the life & work of Ferdowsi; one of the greatest poets of human history and his magnum opus the "Shahnameh". The play takes us through the world of myths, legends, love stories, battles, political turmoil and tragedy as we explore stories capacity to preserve our hopes and protect them in a hostile world.

The show has large ensemble cast playing multiple roles, from kings to hero, blacksmiths, archers to mothers and fathers.
