What better way to celebrate Les Voisins’ 40th anniversary than to dive back into the absurd and laughably realistic universe imagined by Louis Saia and Claude Meunier, where suburbanites meet without seeing each other and talk without ever listening. Discover or rediscover these notorious neighbours, overly well-pruned hedge enthusiasts, intense blue pool lovers, and empty phrase amateurs, who gather one night to look at slides only to see their evening derailed by a tragic event. With a lot of humour, Bernard, Georges, and their spouses will sweep you away to their extremely banal day-to-day where, far too often, we recognize ourselves.
