Claire has a rare form of psychogenic amnesia that erases her memory whenever she goes to sleep. This morning, like all mornings, she wakes up a blank slate. Her chipper husband comes in with a cup of coffee, explains her condition, hands her a book filled with all sorts of essential information, and he disappears into the shower. An unbalanced half-deaf man in a ski mask, a recent stroke victim and a dimwitted thug with a foul-mouthed hand puppet are only a few of the twists and turns in this funhouse plot to bring Claire closer to revealing her past life and everything she thought she'd forgotten. It's one harrowing and hilarious turn after another on this roller coaster ride through the day of an amnesiac trying to decipher her fractured life. This poignant and brutal comedy traces one woman's attempt to regain her memory while surrounded by a curio- cabinet of alarmingly bizarre characters.

Following its previous two productions, Stone Cold. Dead Serious in 2013 and Living Room. Dark. in 2014, inFurnace Theatre is proud to bring their third production, Fuddy Meers to the Montreal theatre community as part of their mandate to produce exciting and eye-opening theatre.

"inFurnace Theatre is excited to present this dark but ultimately heart-warming play to Montreal for the first time. Fuddy Meers is about struggling to re-discover the joys of our past, while still living in the moment and treating people as they ARE, not who they used to be. This play will make you laugh so hard that you won't see it coming when it hits you like a ton of bricks." says Artistic Director, Stuart Fink.
