Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, this gripping trio of monologues imagines the voices of three real-life figures who witness the unfolding disaster from very different times and places: A disgraced American soldier defending her actions as a prison guard at Abu Ghraib; a weapons inspector exposing the false case for war; and an Iraqi dissident who survived torture in Saddam's brutal prisons.
Award-winning Canadian playwright Judith Thompson evokes the cruelty, moral ambiguity
and betrayal by the people in power preceding and following the invasion. The cast includes Sarah Marchand, Michael Findlay and Alexandra Valassis.
Opening night is March 14th and the show will run through the 24th. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through paypal at www.waterworksmontreal.wordpress.com or cash only at the door. Sunday, March 17 at 2pm is 2-for-1 to encourage word of mouth.
