The Segal Centre is proud to launch their "Class Act Card", a new program offering young adults under the age of 30 the flexibility to fit theatre into their busy schedules, and their budget. The Class Act Card will allow the Under 30 crowd to book tickets whenever they want, however they want, at an affordable price.
"We noticed an increase in younger audiences at the Segal in the past few years, especially with the growing popularity of musicals, our Broadway Café events, and engaging plays. We've done a lot of research and reached out to them about what they want, and we listened! The new Class Act Card will give young theatre goers a chance to access our programming in a way that best fits their lifestyle." said Segal Centre Artistic and Executive Director Lisa Rubin.
1 Credit = 1 Ticket
The Class Act Card will work on a credit basis. For $80 only, members will receive a personalized card with four credits that can be exchanged for tickets to any Segal MainStage production. Credits can be used any way the cardholder wants. They will have the flexibility to use one credit per show or invite friends under 30 and use all four credits at once. Cardholders can also book their tickets months in advance or the day of.
Credits are rechargeable once used up and are valid for the entire season they are purchased in. Memberships will be renewable until the cardholder's 30th birthday.
The Class Act Card Also Comes with Perks!
In addition to receiving up to 70% off of regular ticket prices and the flexibility to use their credits as they see fit, Class Act members will also be able to take advantage of several perks, including: $1 off anything at the bar, half off of the admission price to Broadway Café events, discount prices on select Segal Centre programming, "Class Act Alerts" about special contests and promotions, as well as exclusive invitations to Class Act events such as meet and greet cocktails with cast members, and backstage tours.
The new program will launch with a wine and cheese evening on October 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Segal ArtLounge.
As a not-for-profit organization, we are grateful to all our sponsors, donors, and contributors who make it possible to achieve the Segal Centre's vision for accessible theatre programming for all. The Class Act Card is made possible thanks to the generosity of TD.
