The Quebec Drama Federation (QDF) Fall Theatre Calendar Launch will take place Monday, September 14 at Concordia University's F.C. Smith Auditorium at the beautiful Loyola campus in NDG. The general public and the theatre community are invited to join the festivities and see first-hand the upcoming English-language fall theatre crop. Discover plays that suit your tastes. Decide what shows are must-sees, might-sees and not-for-me's.
The Fall Theatre Calendar Launch features inspired scenes and snippets from the upcoming season along with insightful live interviews. Refreshments will be served at the bar with complimentary snacks. Whether new to the theatre world or a long time Montreal theatre-goer, this is the perfect opportunity to see some of the hottest previews of the season, all for free.
For QDF Executive Director Deborah Forde, as summer gives way to fall she begins to feel the same excitement and curiosity that often accompanied a return to school in the autumn, "Who will we encounter? What will we witness and learn? What delights and discoveries lay in store?" She explains, "Leafing through the fall edition of the QDF Fall Theatre Calendar has me more eager than usual, as plays I have only read come to life on the stage, and people whose work I have long admired come into town to work with the incredible artists who call Montreal home." Forde welcome everyone to the launch to discover new and returning theatre companies, hear interesting backstage stories and get to know the artists involved.
