La TOHU and Teatr LICEDEI present Semianyki - the sharp portrait of a nuts family. A ceaseless struggle for power between an alcoholic father constantly on the verge of departure, a fully blown pregnant mother, about to give birth at any moment and a bunch of totally loony and inventive brats threatening to kill both of their parents just for the sake of being there.
All of these culminating onto a sublime happy ending exploding in a collapsing world, stuck between a flamboyant delivery and the sputtering return of the prodigal father. The family overcomes a total chaos and life goes on! Poetic craziness, creative fury, corrosive humour...These clowns do not speak and yet we understand everything. The more beautiful homage given to clowns, both traditional and contemporary, dipped into the marvellous Russian sensitivity.
This production will run from December 16 through January 2nd. There will be a meet and greet with the artists after the December 17th production.
