Step into Bain St. Michel on Friday, March 14th for Infinitheatre's annual fundraiser: Poker in the Pool! Try out your luck during an exciting night of Texas Hold'em poker to support your local theatre- one of the most fun events of the season. Everybody is guaranteed to win a prize.
Play poker with members of Montreal's English language theatre, writing and film communities.
Face off against defending champions Tristan D. Lalla and Arthur Holden and rub shoulders with stars from the Montreal theatre and business community. Poker players include Brett Watson, Sarah Carlsen, Kevin Tierney, Michael Prupas, David Sherman, Alyson Grant, Howard Rosenstein, Jonathan Silver, Ellen David, Gerry Lipnowski, Leopold Plotek and many more. There are no losers, only generous donors.
$50 per person gets you a seat at the table, your first round of poker chips, free food and one drink ticket with a tax receipt for the full amount. Or, bring some friends and buy a table for $500.
Infinitheatre will be raffling off fabulous prizes throughout the night- this year's grand prize is a one-of-a-kind piece of art by a local artist.
Don't know how to play? Come on down and join Montreal playwright and actor Arthur Holden for beginner poker lessons from 6pm to 7pm.
The more the merrier! Feel free to contact friends and suggest they come along. If you can't make it but would still like to support the theatre, donations are gratefully appreciated.
All proceeds go to help fulfill Infinitheatre's mandate to develop, produce and broker new Québec theatre to ever-widening audiences. Read Infinitheatres' full mandate here: www.infinitheatre.com/infin-mandate.html.
