THE ROLES WE'LL NEVER PLAY: MONTREAL EDITION is a fundraiser for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. HONESTLY, OK by Montreal playwright Lauren Stone and her writing partner Nicole Dominguez, based in Los Angeles, will have its world premiere at Theatre Asylum in June 2014. HONESTLY, OK stars Nicole Dominguez, Christine Lakin, Ellen D. Williams, and Stephen Guarino and will be directed by Michael A. Shepperd. All proceeds from THE ROLES WE'LL NEVER PLAY will go toward producing this new work.

About HONESTLY, OK

At seventeen Nicole is kicked out of her parent's house. She lives on the streets until a kind citizen exposes the budding actress to a new career, with a pair of clear acrylic heels. Honestly, OK examines Nicole's life from homeless teen to successful theater director. A memory play, the tale flashes through time, with one woman and one man representing all of the people who have touched Nicole's life. At times hilarious, at times touching, and at times cruel, the play is a realistic view of one woman's struggle to find a home and make a life for herself.
