Centaur and Axis Theatres' THE NUMBER 14 to Close May 26

Centaur Theatre Company and Axis Theatre's The Number 14 will end its Montreal premiere on May 26. Conceived and written by The Number 14 Creative Collective, the play is directed by Wayne Specht.

The production stars Chris Adams, Morgan Brayton, Stefano Giulianetti, Neil Minor, Tracey Power, Sarah Rodgers and Scott Walters.

The creative team features originating director Roy Surette, set designer Pam Johnson, costume designer Nancy Bryant, mask designer Melody Anderson and lighting designer Gerald King. With original music by Douglas Macaulay and stage manager Sarah Wallin, assistant stage manager Anthony Liam Kearns and assistant director Tracey Power.

"The Number 14 is my way of celebrating the closing of this diverse and dynamic season," says Roy Surette, Artistic & Executive Director, and original Director of The Number 14. "We are grateful to Montreal audiences for their adventurous spirit. Laughter and joy are a great way to greet the warm weather!"

Performance Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday - 8:00PM; Saturday - Sunday Matinees- 2:00PM.

Thursday Evening Chat-up in collaboration with The Gazette, Thursday May 16, 2013 at 7PM
Join host David Johnston, The Gazette's Communities Editor and Benoît Clairoux from STM's Public Affairs Department. Mr. Clairoux will share his passion for the history of public transportation in Montreal and is the author of the book Le métro de Montréal, 35 ans déjà, published in 2001.
