The University of Montana School of Theatre & Dance is pleased to offer Eurydice, a modern adaptation of the classic myth. Eurydice runs in the Masquer Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus October 27-31 and November 3-7 at 7:30 p.m.
In Eurydice, Pulitzer-Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice reunites with her father and struggles to recall her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at what we choose to remember-and forget-and why.
