Alpine Theatre Project, Montana's world-class professional theatre begins its 2011 season with an evening of song and dance featuring music from the Great American Songbook. My Funny Valentine 2: Love Letters pays tribute to the great song and dance duos of the 1930's and 40's. It marks the return of NYC's Two on Tap, who starred in last year's incarnation of this popular concert. The concert will be held at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 12 at 7pm.

The unique show showcases the return of Two on Tap - an innovative collaboration of musical theatre veterans, Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano. Giattino has numerous theatre credits including performances in Broadway's 42nd Street, and as a featured member of the Radio City Rockettes. She has also worked with several renowned tap choreographers including Tony Award winner Danny Daniels and Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner, and starred in ATP's A Grand Night for Singing. DeStefano is making a return to Whitefish after having leading roles in Alpine Theatre Project's The Full Monty and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He also has numerous National and regional credits including the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

The duo will be joined by renowned pianist/arranger, David Snyder. Snyder's career has taken him from Hollywood to Carnegie Hall, having worked with such artists as Nell Carter, Clay Aiken, Debbie Reynolds, and the Manhattan Transfer. Rounding out the evening will be ATP's own Betsi Morrison and Luke Walrath, who will add their own romantic duets and solos to the evening.

"It's going to be a romantic evening of great song and dance," says Morrison. "Last year's concert was such a huge success, we knew we had to do it again."

Patrons can receive up to 25% off the single ticket price if they subscribe to the 2011 season, which includes the new ATP Winter LAB, its slate of 4 summer productions, and its popular AKTP educational program.  ATP is offering 6 different packages for patrons, giving them a variety of options and savings of up to 25%.
