Circus Juventas will flip, tumble, and soar through the seasons in Solstice, the award-winning youth performing arts circus school’s third annual holiday show. Performances run weekends, Dec. 9 through 18, under the big top, 1270 Montreal Avenue, St. Paul, MN. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14. Tickets are $25 for children, $35 for adults, and are available at https://circusjuventas.showare.com/
From the opening candle-lit procession filling the darkness in honor of Santa Lucia, to the glittering snow-cascading finale, Circus Juventas will take audiences on a Nordic-inspired adventure that celebrates all seasons – but especially winter (yes, winter!) – with the dazzling physical feats and artistry that has won Circus Juventas numerous awards and accolades during their 27 years as the nation’s preeminent youth circus arts organization.
“This one hour production offers a light-hearted holiday story perfect for all ages, including anyone who has been curious about Circus Juventas, but may not have been able to get tickets to one of our sold-out summer shows,” said Elizabeth “Betty” Butler, Circus Juventas Co-Founder and Artistic Director. “Prepare to be wowed by our young aerialists and acrobats and laugh along with the characters’ hijinks as the story unfolds.”
Solstice will take place without intermission, but festive treats and hot cocoa will be available for purchase before the start of each show.
