A Traveling Off Broadway Vaudeville Hip-Hop show comes to the Twin Citis for the first time! The show touches upon Racial identity, History, Comedy with original music, singing, dancing, rapping and audience interaction. This show is full of surprising moment you won’t want to miss, you’ll laugh and learn something at the same time. Inspired by The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Childish Gambino, “The Muppets”, “Dear White People”, and Pat Chappelle’s “Rabbit’s Foot”.

Traveling Cast:

Jordon Waters, Austin Bowen, KC Wilson, Stephen Straub, Shae Lambert, Alyssa Lundberg, Brian Fender-Shirley, Candice Segerra, Brandy Ochoa, Chris Trindade, Stephanie Marrow, Mally Reber and Melany Smith.

Show Info:

Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot, is about 3 kids (Jay, Ray and Ted) who decide to put on their own show. Through out the process they encounter some pretty interesting hurdles dealing with race, relationships and Nutcrackers. Rabbit’s Foot uses the show within a show formula and gives the audience a new experience every time. Throughout the run of the shows actors gets swap in and out for different characters. Each character has a set performance based on his or her expertise.

Performance History:

The show has performed recently in "Boom Chicago" in Amsterdam, Netherlands as well as Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York City. Such venues in NYC include Funkadelic Studios, Howl Happening, Under Saint Marks, Parkside Lounge Speakeasy, Duplex Piano Bar and Off Broadway’s Cabaret Feinstein's/54 Below. The show currently is on its 2nd year as a Residency at The People’s Improv Theater (The PIT) every third Monday of every month in New York City. In 2020, they will begin to tour staring in April in Los Angeles make their way to the famous comedy house, Second City Hollywood, followed by Denver and Cape Cod. More info later!
