X Games Minneapolis 2017 Music
A Day To Remember - Over the course of the past several years, each of A Day To Remember's releases have hit No. 1 on Billboard's Rock, Indie and/or Alternative Charts. They've also sold more than a million units, racked up over 400 million Spotify streams and 500 million Youtube views, garnered two gold-selling albums and singles (and one silver album in the UK) and sold out entire continental tours (including their own curated Self Help Festival), amassing a global fanbase whose members number in the millions. All of which explains why Rolling Stone called them "An Artist You Need To Know." In other words, their creative process has worked and worked well. http://adtr.com/
Flume - Flume, aka 25-year-old Australian producer Harley Streten, was a quiet kid in high school before releasing his self-titled debut album in 2012. "Shock" plays a significant role on his often-outrageous second album, Skin. Released in May 2016, the musician's wildly eclectic follow-up is a meticulously crafted, vivid universe of big emotions woven into a densely cinematic whole. With good reason - its creation mirrors the complex rush of sensations that came with sudden success. Announcing headline shows to celebrate the release of Skin in May, Flume sold out all 300,000 tickets of his world headline tour, including more than 80,000 headline tickets in Australia alone. His stretch through the US included closing the outdoor stage at Coachella 2016; drawing 70,000 to his Lollapalooza slot; multiple sold out nights at The Shrine in LA, the Bill Graham Civic in San Francisco, and iconic sell-outs at Red Rocks CO and Forest Hills NYC. https://flumemusic.com/
Atmosphere - Over their twenty-year career, Atmosphere has managed to continually tweak and strive to perfect their formula. Producer Ant and lyricist / rapper Slug's music has evolved in a way that differs from many of their peers and predecessors: Ant has continued to define Atmosphere's sound, ranging from upbeat and fun to the oft more iconic, moody and personal while Slug has been consistently successful in leveraging his understanding for the power of words. The impact of Atmosphere's music has been the root to their long-term success-starting with their first official album, 1997's Overcast, and continuing through to 2016's seventh studio album Fishing Blues-but their continued rigorous touring and performance schedule has been the vessel for engraining these stories and the legacy of the music into their fan base. With their passion and creative spark as illuminate as ever, the pair prove they still have plenty of stories to tell. http://rhymesayers.com/atmosphere
