Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota has announced a new and enhanced museum tour, titled the "Ultimate Experience", which will provide visitors with exclusive access to new spaces and exhibit experiences within Paisley Park. Introduced as an even more immersive way for fans to tour Prince's iconic creative sanctuary located just outside Minneapolis, the Ultimate Experience will be offered for a limited time on Mondays alongside current General Admission and VIP tours, beginning August 14.
This new, wide-ranging Paisley Park experience will offer Prince fans and visitors from around the world an expanded 3-hour guided tour with access to all three of Prince's primary recording studios (A, B and C). In addition, the Ultimate Experience will allow visitors to enjoy a private extended screening of video footage within Paisley Park's editing suite, a site Prince used frequently to review and edit live concert footage and official music videos, including the Rave Un2 the Year 2000 concert film recorded at Paisley Park. The enhanced tour will also include a special audio playback session in the control room of Studio B, a room in which Prince recorded countless hits, including songs from Lovesexy, Batman, Graffiti Bridge, Sign O' The Times and Emancipation. The playback session will uniquely highlight Prince's creative process and singular talent as a songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Visitors on the Ultimate Experience will also have access to view archive items not displayed on the GA and VIP tours, providing a more in-depth museum experience. The Ultimate Experience ticket price is $160 and includes a specially prepared vegetarian meal at the conclusion of the tour.
