Twelve Ways To Celebrate The Holidays At Chanhassen Dinner Theatres  ImageChanhassen Dinner Theatres (CDT) is decked for the holidays and offers twelve ways to celebrate the season in 2018. On the Main Stage is Irving Berlin'S HOLIDAY INN. This Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' 50th anniversary hit is a new staging that was reimagined for the Broadway stage in 2016 and is based on the classic 1942 film of the same title starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. It celebrates seven holidays from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July and is the quintessential season showstopper. With over 20 Irving Berlin classic tunes and 13 celebratory production numbers, guests will be delighted with this entertainment spectacular for all ages.

In addition, CDT features seven completely unique holiday concert events on its Fireside stage with something for everyone. (All holiday events listed below in detail.) In the Playhouse, Stevie Ray'S COMEDY CABARET presents MISTLETOE MISCHIEF, where guests will enjoy comedy improv with a sassy holiday twist. Join the JazzMN ORCHESTRA on the Main Stage for JINGLE BELL JAZZ for an evening of swingin' holiday jazz favorites ranging from classic selections from the Ellington Nutcracker Suite to popular Christmas tunes by artists such as Harry Connick Jr. and Gregory Porter. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres has the best NEW YEAR'S EVE BASH in the Twin Cities. This spectacular evening includes your choice of production, special dinner menu, post-theatre dancing to the Chanhassen Orchestra on the Main Stage, or DJ-dancing in the Club, piano bar in the Hogarth Lounge, more comedy with Stevie Ray's, party hats, noisemakers, champagne toast with a souvenir flute and a gourmet coffee and sweet bar. Get ready to crank your holiday spirit all the way up! Returning to our 2015 holiday series is this hugely popular rockin' holiday event! It's a multi-media, musical extravaganza that mixes rock hits of the 70's to today with hilarious stories and parodies favorite yuletide songs as you've never heard them before. Join an 8-piece all-star cast of musicians as they uniquely rock their way through Christmas classics in the most imaginative way possible delivering as much fun as Santa himself. For example, hear the blending of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" set to Peter Frampton's "Show Me The Way!" Each song is funnier and yes, even more cleverly done than the one before it!

Returning by popular demand is Celtic Holiday Hooley! Come for some warm-fuzzies and holiday family fun! This hosted variety show is a party for all ages with Irish music, stories, sketches, step dance, caroling and more. Beyond that, it's wacky good fun for everyone with brief guest appearances from well-known holiday characters including The Grinch and yes, even Santa Claus! Presented by the O'Shea Irish Dancers (who appeared at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in sold-out performances of Kickin' It Irish.) Choreography and music by original Riverdancer, Cormac O'Sé, of Dublin.

Returning after it's smash success these past three years, A Three Tenors Christmas is a must-see for your line-up of holiday activities. This holiday performance is a twist on the classic, inspired by "The Three Tenors," that is both fun and musically satisfying. Nathan Bird, Aaron Humble and David Walton bring their powerful vocal harmonies and spine-tingling high notes to the Fireside Theatre as pianist Mark Bilyeu leads a dynamic trio of instruments. You'll be mesmerized by the arrangements of Christmas classics arranged for tenor trio - including: "O Holy Night," "Gesu Bambino" and "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming." The show boasts ever-popular sweeping lines of timeless opera tenor melodies such as "Nessun Dorma" and "Una furtiva lagrima."
