Tony Sandler's Holiday Greetings, a variety show showcasing the dulcet voice of platinum-selling artist Tony Sandler with the 30-member, critically acclaimed Land of Lakes Choirboys of St. Francis, MN, and a seven member musical ensemble, plays Hennepin Theatre Trust's Pantages Theatre at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009.

Tony Sandler, best known as the dynamic half of the sensational Las Vegas duo Sandler and Young, was featured in the 2008 PBS television special "Tony Sandler's Holiday Greetings" along with the Land of Lakes Choirboys. The program will be re-broadcast soon on PBS. The Pantages variety show is based on stellar arrangements of such classics as "O Holy Night" and "Do You Hear What I Hear" from Sandler and Young's best-selling Christmas album.

Originally from Belgium, Tony Sandler began singing as a boy with the French Gregorian choir Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois, which performed at the Basilica of St. Peter for Pope Pius XII. After recording his first hit, "Song of the Sea," in 1954 while serving in the Belgian Air Force, Sandler became a stage, television and a film star throughout Europe before coming to the United States. He is best known for his work in the famous Sandler and Young duo, formed with American vocalist Ralph Young. They became one of the hottest acts in Vegas and show business with frequent appearances on Johnny Carson, Ed Sullivan, Dean Martin and Merv Griffin shows.

The Land of Lakes Choirboys and their premiere "Viking Choir" ranks as one of the world's finest boy choirs, often spoken of in the same breath as the Vienna Boys' Choir. Winner of two Silver Medals and two Gold Diplomas at the "World Choir Games" in Graz, Austria in 2008 and the only boys choir outside of Germany to open the International Bach Festival in Ratingen, Germany in 1999, the Choir is part of a world-renowned training program that not only develops musical ability, but individual character as well as academic and leadership skills for boys. Germany's Schlitzer Bote, praises their "…Sounds of overwhelming purity and transparency...."
