Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) continues its 60th Anniversary Season as the longest-running theatre in Minneapolis with Agatha Christie's mystery "The Hollow" in weekend performances tonight, May 25 through June 24.
When Lord and Lady Angkatell host a reunion at their country estate, the hostess mischievously invites Dr. John Cristow, a notorious womanizer, and his wife Gerda. The unexpected appearance of movie star Veronica Craye, his ex-mistress, gives the evening an interesting turn -- as does the murder of the good doctor. Enter the local inspector, who must deduce his way through the thicket of motives, secret love triangles, surprise twists, and the usual suspects of a fun Agatha Christie thriller.
Wendy Resch Novak directs a 12-member cast, with sets designed by Sadie Ward, costumes by Jamie Williams, and lighting by Deborah C. Tallen.
An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, June 10th.
Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
