Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) presents "Morning's at Seven" by Paul Osborn in weekend performances October 11 through November 3, 2013.
This sweet, heartwarming comedy depicts a day in the life of a seemingly wholesome, but secretly eccentric, family in a small Midwestern town in the 1930s. The four Gibbs sisters are getting on in years and live in cozy but dangerous proximity. And today is a major event: Ida's boy Homer is finally going to introduce Myrtle Brown, his fiancée of 7 years. This classic has enjoyed several successful revivals on Broadway for its gentle humor, charming characters, and its portrait of a bygone America.
Craig Johnson directs a cast of nine, with scenic and lighting design by Dietrich Poppen and costume design by John A. Woskoff.
An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, October 27th.
Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
