Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) opens its 60th Anniversary Season as the longest-running theatre in Minneapolis with William Inge's Bus Stop in weekend performances September 9 through October 2, 2011.

Bo Decker, a young, headstrong rodeo cowboy, falls head-over-heels for nightclub singer Cherie and whisks her onto a bus to take her to his ranch in Montana. But theirs is just one story on a bus of likable misfits, who find themselves stranded for a night in a small town in Kansas. This warm and affecting romantic comedy was an immediate hit when it opened on Broadway.

Rob Goudy directs a cast of eight, featuring Katharine Moeller as Cherie and Josh Larson as Bo. Sets are designed by Amber W R. Miller, costumes by Carolann Winther, and lighting by Nicole Fierce.

An audience discussion with director Goudy and members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, September 18th.

Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
