Theatre in the Round Players (TRP) opens its 67th season with Frederick Knott's Wait Until Dark, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, in weekend performances from September 7 - 30, 2018.
Susan Hendrix is still recovering from a car accident that left her blind. Her husband's away so she's alone when she finds herself threatened by ruthless con men in her own apartment. As the tension builds, she discovers her blindness may be the very key to her escape - but she must wait until dark to play out the chilling conclusion to this classic thriller. Alissa Blaeser directs the 6-member cast, led by Heather Burmeister as Susan. Sets are designed by Devyn Becker, costumes by Rebecca Karstad, and lighting by Sadie Ward.
An audience discussion with members of the company will follow the matinee performance on Sunday, September 23. Tickets are $22. For information, call the theatre's box office at 612-333-3010 or visit its website at www.TheatreintheRound.org.
