Theater Latté Da presents THE SHOE TREE reading on Monday, December 12, 7:30 p.m. at The Children's Theatre Company, Cohen Stage, 2400 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404 (Enter through Stage Door just across from parking ramp and you will be escorted to the theater.). Tickets are First come, first serve with a suggested donation of $10.

Attend the first public reading of The Shoe Tree and be on the ground floor of building this original musical cabaret. Prosody, the songwriting initiative comprised of lyricists and composers based in the Twin Cities, have taken twelve stories based on the folklore of this tree, creating a new musical that explores the untold narratives of the people behind the shoes. 1,000 shoes that carry the stories of 1,000 people who walked 1,000 miles in each shoe. On the loneliest road in America stands a tree draped with the shoes of dreamers.

Curated and Directed by Joshua Campbell. Music Direction by Denise Prosek.

The Lyricists and Composers are Jay Albright, Betti Battocletti, Tom Borger, Dustin Bronson, Joshua Campbell, Paul R. Coate, Laurie Flanigan-Hegge, Aaron Gabriel, Michael Gruber, Jason Hansen, Alex Heetland, Sheena Janson, Todd Price, Denise Prosek, Adam Qualls, Whitney Rhodes, Simon Sperl, Max Wojtanowicz and Jenna Zark.

The Book Writers are Joshua Campbell, Laurie Flanigan-Hegge and Jenna Zark.

The Performers are Dieter Bierbrauer, Noah Coon, Lynn Dyrhaug-Rotto, Brian Frutiger, Sarah Ochs, Derek Prestly and Randy Schmeling.

WOMEN, WISDOM & WINE present Directing Theater - Empowering Artists, Inspiring Audiences? on Wednesday, December 21, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. at Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Main Street, Hopkins, MN 55343.
