The Minnesota Shakespeare Company's celebrated production manqué, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, opens at the Lowry Lab, Thursday, June 3rd. Nick James--playing the title role--again has two working legs, after breaking one during a rehearsal of the swordfight scene last December.
The Minnesota Shakespeare Company is delighted to announce that Dr. Joe Hughes has offered to lead a post performance discussion of Hamlet on June 5 & June 12. Dr. Hughes teaches English at the University of Minnesota and is featured in the top ten people with whom you would want to have a drink.
This spring, Dr. Hughes is teaching a Shakespeare class and during April, Hamlet. Celebrated actor, Nick James, will appear at one of Dr. Hughes' classes later this month.
We hope you can join us in what will prove to be a lively and entertaining performance and discussion.
As a last minute addition a "pay what you can" performance has been added on Monday, June 7th at 7pm.
