ROCK OF AGES to Return to Minneapolis, 5/17-19, 2013

Rock of Ages, the five-time Tony nominated musical, returns to Minneapolis by popular demand to play alimited engagement of only five performances at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, Friday-Sunday, May 17-19, 2013. Told through the hit '80s songs of iconic rockers Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake and more, this classic rock story is presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust as a special addition to its 2012/13 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season. Tickets are on sale now to full season subscribers, groups of 10 or more and Hennepin Theatre Trust Donors. Rock of Ages is still rockin' on Broadway, featuring 28 classic rock tunes including "Don't Stop Believin'," "We Built This City," "The Final Countdown," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Here I Go Again," "Harden My Heart," "Can't Fight this Feeling," "Renegade" and "I Want To Know What Love Is." A New Line Cinema/Warner Brothers film of the five time Tony nominated musical starring Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin is scheduled for release in June 2012. Rock of Ages will run Friday through Sunday, May 17-19, 2013 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Avenue, Mpls., 55403). Performance times are Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets for full season subscribers, groups of 10 or more or Hennepin Theatre Trust Donors are on sale now. Patrons can purchase a season ticket package in person at the State Theatre Box Office (805 Hennepin Avenue, Mpls., 55402) with no additional service fees. Ticket buyers can also visit HennepinTheatreTrust.org or call the Broadway Across America Season Ticket Hotline at 1.800.859.SHOW (7469).
