NewBridge Theatre Company Hosts Silent Auction in Hastings Today

To raise money for their non-profit theatre, NewBridge Theatre Company has decided to put together a silent auction event to be held at their theater in Hastings tonight, November 16th, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

NewBridge Theatre Company is an intimate storefront professional non-profit theatre and educational facility located in the heart of historic downtown Hastings. The proximity of the actors and spectators at this theatre provides the audience with the opportunity to see the actors breathe into their characters and to feel the raw emotion that the actors are portraying. NewBridge is a young company, having just premiered their second season with a unique interpretation of the popular musical The Fantasticks. The shows here feature a 22-person professional Acting Company with origins from all over the country, who each bring something unique to the performances with the diversity of their backgrounds and experiences. NewBridge is also an educational arts facility where children ages 5 and up experience acting, art, dance and singing in private and group classes.

NewBridge Theatre Company is hoping to raise $5,000 at their upcoming Mardi Gras themed silent auction, Bourbon Street on Main Street Silent Auction. There will be over 100 prizes to be bid on at this event, including but far from limited to: tickets to every major theatre in the Twin Cities area, Mary Kay baskets, weekend getaways to resort locations, golf packages, baskets full of a variety of wines and liquors, personal training sessions, private tours at different vineyards and breweries, massage certificates, gift certificates to many different restaurants, and so much more.

Along with all of these amazing gifts to be bid on, this event will also have live music, cateRed Food, beer & wine, and intervals of short performances.
