Up next on the Arts Center on 7 Main Stage, Minnetonka Theatre will present Dracula - The Musical (November 4-19) and The Sound of Music (December 9-18). Theatre lovers should mark their calendars for exclusive opportunities to learn more about both shows and get a closer look at how Minnetonka Theatre continues to bring a little bit of Broadway to their own backyard!

First Dracula - The Fashion Show, an intimate gala in the new Studio Theatre, will feature cast members modeling some of Catherine Zuber's Tony Award nominated costumes from the original Broadway production. Minnetonka Theatre's designers will talk about the exciting challenge of bringing the thrilling Victorian romance to life.

"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students to be able to wear a costume that was actually used on Broadway," says costume designer Jan Battles. "I am thrilled that we can once again blend our own custom-built costumes with these pieces from Costume World's Broadway Collection!"

This event will be hosted immediately before the matinee of Dracula - The Musical on November 13. Coffee and desserts will be provided by the Minnetonka Theatre Curtain Call Club and seating is limited.

Next up special guest and Minnetonka resident Debbie Turner, the actress who played Marta von Trapp in The Sound of Music movie, will invite audience members to stay for a free post-show talkback in conjunction with the production's December 10 matinee. Turner will discuss making the movie, working with Julie Andrews, growing up as a child star, and life after The Sound of Music.
