MJTC Presents THE LAST SCHWARTZ  Image

Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) continues its 24th season with The Last Schwartz by Deborah Zoe Laufer.

On the anniversary of their father's death, three brothers and their sister return to the family home for the unveiling memorial service. Grounded in painful pasts, this wacky comedy/drama explores Jewish identity and the question of cultural continuity within family dynamics. Casting includes Laura Stearns Adams (My Mother's Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding, Stars of David) and Heidi Fellner (Aunt Raini), and MJTC newcomers Corey DiNardo, Emily Dussault, Damian Leverett, and Matt Sciple.

Performances are October 20 - November 11, 2018; Wednesdays & Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 1:00 p.m.. Additional performances are Sunday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m.. Audio Described performance is Sunday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m..

All performances are held in the theater of Highland Park Community Center at 1978 Ford Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55116. The theater is fully accessible and has free parking on site.
