Kingdom Undone, by Jeremiah and Vanessa Gamble, opens on March 15 at the Southern Theater. This critically acclaimed work with a compelling twist on the last days of Jesus and Judas runs through March 30.

"[Kingdom Undone] is notable for many reasons: the continuing dramatic rehabilitation of Judas' character; the palpable presence of a Jewish resistance movement in ancient Palestine; the sense of ebullient hope that Jesus (played by Jeremiah Gamble) elicited during his ministry and the aching devastation at his capture..." --- Graydon Royce, Star Tribune

The Gambles found the piece challenged both churchgoers and non-churchgoers to rethink assumptions and provoke discussion. "Because last year's production was a premiere, we had little time to finesse and fine tune things," said Jeremiah. "This year, we are grateful to have time to explore scenes and discover new moments. We've also added some new music, re-staged some scenes and added new choreography. We think the production is greatly enhanced by these new discoveries."

The Kingdom Undone cast includes Dustin Bronson (Pillsbury House, The Illusion, Park Square) as Judas, Jeremiah Gamble (playwright and author) plays Jesus, Vanessa Gamble is Magdalena (Children's Theater Company, Theater Latté Da, History Theater), Matt Berdahl (Bloomington Civic Theater, Skylark Opera Company) is Isaac, and Janet Hanson as Mary (Theater Latte Da, Park Square Theatre, The Children's Theatre Company).
