John Command (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) returns to the Jungle to direct URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL, the Tony-nominated satirical musical comedy. Described as one of the most uproariously funny musicals in recent years, Urinetown is a mocking tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. Starring Bradley Greenwald (as Officer Lockstock) and boasting the largest cast ever assembled on the Jungle stage (20+ actors and musicians), Urinetown will open June 7 and run through August 11, 2013.

In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage-caused by a 20-year drought-has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, owned and operated by Urine Good Company and its corrupt CEO Caldwell B. Cladwell (played by Gary Briggle). The malevolent corporation profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

Patrick Morgan makes his Jungle debut as the hero, Bobby Strong. His leading lady Tiffany Seymour (as Hope Cladwell) was introduced to Jungle audiences in Forum. Also returning to the Jungle stage are Kim Carlander (Cladwell's secretary), Larissa Gritti (Ensemble), Josiah Gulden (Dr. Billeaux), Adam Bradley Moore (Tiny Tom), Kirby Trymucha-Duresky (Soupy Sue), David Ulrich (Mr. McQueen) and Jon Whittier (Officer Barrel).

Jungle newcomers include Betti Battocletti (Mrs. Millennium), J.P. Fitzgibbons (Joseph "Old Man" Strong), Rico Heisler (Robby the Stockfish), Seri Johnson (Josephine "Old Ma" Strong), Danielle Nelson (Ensemble), Elisa Pluhar (Little Sally), Kersten Rodau (Penelope Pennywise), Randy Schmeling (Hot Blades Harry), Carl Schoenborn (Senator Fipp), Jon Stiff (Billy Boy Bill), Jodi Tripp (Little Becky Two Shoes) and Therese Walth (an Old Woman).

The Urinetown creative team includes Raymond Berg (music director), Jungle Artistic Director and Ivey Award winner Bain Boehlke (set design), 2012 Ivey Award-winning Barry Browning (lighting design), Christine Fournier (assistant director), Sean Healey (sound designer), Kathy Kohl (costume design), John Novak (properties and stage manager) and John Stillwell (technical director).
