Generous funders who wish to provide a spark of marvel to those less fortunate during the holiday season now can donate JUNIOR CLAUS show tickets to families in need.
Community Action Council has been named an official community partner of JUNIOR CLAUS, the heart-warming and hilarious musical coming to the Twin Cities South Metro for a limited run December 10-27, 2009 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.
Organizations and individuals who wish to donate their JUNIOR CLAUS tickets can call Community Action Council at (952) 985-5300.
"Families are in need of basic human services," says CAC President/CEO Mary Ajax, "but they are also looking to have their souls nourished through a night of entertainment that brings them into the world of holiday magic." For nearly 40 years, CAC has enabled families in the Burnsville and surrounding communities to be self-sufficient through a variety of services including domestic violence prevention, New American Services, and school success programs.
JUNIOR CLAUS tickets are available through the national Ticketmaster hotline (800-982-2787) or in person at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center (952-895-4680). Tickets are priced for families seeking an affordable holiday theater experience; $21.50 for youth and seniors, and $32.00 for adults.
Community Action Council is dedicated to bringing communities together through violence prevention, school success and self sufficiency programs. To learn more or to volunteer, visit www.communityactioncouncil.org.
