ISAAC'S EYE Opens In One Week At Theatre Pro Rata Image

Theatre Pro Rata is producing Isaac's Eye by Lucas Hnath this February at the Gremlin Theater.

The award-winning script weaves fact and fiction, contemporary language, and timeless themes of youthful ambition and fortified pride as it tells the story of an imagined meeting between Isaac Newton and Robert Hooke of the Royal Society. Newton seeks a mentor in Hooke and will go to great lengths to prove himself worthy, even sticking a needle into his tear duct to try to determine how the eye sees light. The story is historical, the language is contemporary, the characters are unforgettable, and the play will delight audiences and give them a lot to think about.

Tickets for all Theatre Pro Rata productions are $14 - $41, Sliding Scale, at the door, with 2-for-1's available for Sunday performances when you present the most recent Minnesota Fringe Festival button.
