Hennepin Theatre Trust is pleased to announce the Tuesday, Dec. 1 launch of The Scene, a dynamic new group for young patrons (21 to 39 years of age) interested in actively supporting the Trust, the Twin Cities' vibrant arts and entertainment community and its many cultural and educational programs. The launch is set for the opening night of Broadway's multi-Tony Award winning In the Heights. The Scene is designed to provide an interactive and affordable arts and entertainment experience with Hennepin Theatre Trust. The new program's focus is to create an environment where The Scene members can network, socialize, attend special events and work to sustain the Twin Cities cultural community.

The Scene's official launch on Dec. 1 is a multi-faceted evening set around the opening night performance of the hot new musical In the Heights at the Trust's Orpheum Theatre. The evening will begin with a pre-show Scene reception including cocktails and hors' devours from 6-7 p.m. at Bradstreet Crafthouse, located inside the Graves 601 Hotel at 601 N. 1st Ave. in downtown Minneapolis. Immediately following, members will attend the In the Heights Minnesota debut performance at 7:30 p.m. The Scene members are also invited to a post-show opening night party at Seven located at 700 Hennepin Ave.

Admission to The Scene launch event is $60-this price also includes a ticket to the opening night performance of In the Heights on Dec. 1 plus a one year Scene $45 individual membership! Tickets may be purchased online at www.hennepintheatretrust.org/TheScene, or by calling 612-373-5689.
