Four Humors has announced its 2013-14 season with its annual production of April Fools. This year's festivities will be held at the Brave New Workshop Student Union in Uptown. It will be accompanied by a silent auction, beer and wine bar, and the official unveiling of Four Humors' upcoming season.
When a mysteriously mustachioed villain steals laughter out from under their noses, four fools must embark on the most epic quest of their ridiculous lives. Will they recapture laughter? Will they defeat the villain? Will they be delayed by their friend Poetry Box? The laughs never cease in this farcical romp through a world of comedy, calamity, and cardboard.
"April Fools is one of our most surprising shows," says Jason Ballweber, Artistic Director of Four Humors. "It is always a joy to share such a silly and fun show with the audience. This year's season announcement is also going to be very surprising with a few shows you wouldn't expect from us. That has always been a side goal of ours, to not only surprise our audience but to surprise ourselves as well. I am very happy to share our favorite holiday with you!"
This year's silent auction will feature a wide variety of items from fantastic Twin Cities businesses and artists. All money raised from this event will go to support Four Humors' upcoming season.
