Dog in the Door Theater for Kids (DITD) has announced an exciting, new partnership with Woodbury Community Theater (WCT). Saturdays in April will find the up-and-coming children's theater school 'acting out' in the freshly renovated Merrill Community Arts Center at 380 Rivertown Drive, Suite 200, Woodbury.

The two organizations say they are a perfect pairing. Plans came about quickly when WCT head Michelle Witte and DITD founder Michelle Storm mutually saw a community need and started to talk.

Registration is open for students, ages 3-14, to 'play, grow, and have fun while exploring the magical world of theater!' Storm envisions kids developing the actor's tools: voice, body, and imagination. All abilities are welcome to enjoy lively theater games, activities, and a multitude of mini-performances for family and friends throughout the session.

Class themes of "Can't Sit Still," "Michelle's Messy, Marvelous Trunk!" and "Young Bards Club" include improvisation, movement, music, script reading, scene work, puppetry, stage craft, and much more… students need only bring their creativity!

To register, contact Dog in the Door Theater for Kids at classes@doginthedoor.com or 651.501.9273. More information is found at www.doginthedoor.com and www.woodburycommunitytheatre.org.
