In the land of windmills and sea walls, former president George W. Bush spends a surrealistic night at a luxury Dutch hotel on the eve of his appearance before the World Court. His hosts, enigmatic Piet and the alluring Anna-Lisa, cater to George's every whim as he anxiously reviews his presidency and justifies his actions.
Blessing juxtaposes the nature of power and of servitude, and challenges us to examine what exactly we expect from our leaders, and from ourselves.
