Randy Bryant Named President and CEO of Ten Chimneys Foundation

Preservationist and architectural historIan Randy Bryant has been named as President and CEO of Ten Chimneys Foundation. The announcement was made by Board Chair Judy Jorgensen.

Prior to joining Ten Chimneys Foundation, Bryant served as President of the Board of Directors and Interim Executive Director for the Milwaukee County Historical Society, where he oversaw the completion of a $9 million dollar restoration and capital campaign, along with facilitating its designation as a Smithsonian affiliate.

Bryant is an experienced professional with an extensive record of operationally supporting work at executive levels for both corporate and nonprofit entities. Bryant previously held a variety of senior level positions in Brazil, Spain, and England for Motorola, Inc., a U.S. based multinational telecommunications company based in Schaumburg, IL, including Latin America Strategist, Director of Business Development, and President/General Manager of Motorola INOSET in Brazil. Bryant's community leadership has benefited organizations such as: City of Milwaukee Historic Preservation Commission, Milwaukee Art Museum, Preserve Our Parks, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee County Landmark Commission, Coalition for Historic Preservation and Economic Development, Historic Preservation Committee of Historic Milwaukee, Inc., and Ten Chimneys Foundation.

"Randy brings many impressive qualities to this leadership position that will enable Ten Chimneys to strengthen its impact on theatre, arts, and preservation, inspired by Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Ten Chimneys has become recognized as one of the most inspirational historic sites in the country and an important resource for theatre and the arts," said Jorgensen.

"I am thrilled to take on this leadership role and look forward to collaborating with members of the Board of Trustees and local and national stakeholders to further the mission of Ten Chimneys," said Bryant.

In his new role, Bryant will lead the Foundation's philanthropic efforts and create opportunities to expand the historic significance of Ten Chimneys, a world-class house museum and national resource for theatre and arts education. It is a National Historic Landmark, "Save America's Treasures" project site, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Bryant is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He is married and resides on Milwaukee's east side.

Ten Chimneys Foundation was formed in 1996 to restore and preserve the estate known as Ten Chimneys, and open it to the public as a world-class museum and national resource for theatre and arts education. Ten Chimneys was created by the late American theatre legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, widely considered the greatest acting team in the history of American theatre.
