Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents the Midwest Premiere of Holmes and Watson, by Jeffery Hatcher in the Quadracci Powerhouse, now through December 17. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Holmes and Watson follows Dr. Watson when he's called upon to disprove the many frauds, fakes, and charlatans who have popped up all over the world claiming to be Sherlock Holmes following his "death" at Reichenbach Falls. Watson travels to a remote mental asylum where three men have recently been admitted, each claiming to be the late detective and matching his physical description. Watson must confront the men and figure out which one is the real Holmes. This thrilling new drama, by the celebrated writer of the movies Mr. Holmes and Stage Beauty, is next up in our series of popular mysteries like The Mousetrap and The 39 Steps.

Holmes and Watson features Mark Corkins (In Tandem Theatre's Lamps for My Family), Grant Goodman (Pride and Prejudice), Ryan Imhoff (The Glass Menagerie), Maggie Kettering (Peninsula Players Theatre's Lend Me A Tenor), Norman Moses (Skylight's La Cage Aux Folles), Eric Damon Smith (Gutenberg! The Musical) and Rex Young (Benito Cereno).

Holmes and Watson is directed by former Rep Artistic Director of 17 years (1993-2010), Joseph Hanreddy. The creative team includes scenic design by Bill Clarke (The Foreigner) costume design by Karin Simonson Kopischke (Skylight's Violet), lighting design by Michael Chybowski (The Clean House), projection design by Mike Tutaj (BBC Proms/Halle Orchestra's From the New World), sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen (Steppenwolf Theatre's Visiting Edna), fight direction by Ben Kahre(The Who & The What) and Clare Arena Haden (Guys and Dolls) as dialect coach.

Holmes and Watson begins performances November 14 and runs through December 17 in the Quadracci Powerhouse. Opening night is set for tomorrow, November 17 at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.MilwaukeeRep.com, by phone at 414-224-9490 or in person at the Ticket Office (108 E. Wells Street).
