An Evening of Readings & Carols is set for December 14, featuring the Concert Choir and Milwaukee Youth Chorale, the premier ensembles of Milwaukee Children's Choir, will perform An Evening of Readings and Carols at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the solemn atmosphere of the Cathedral Church of All Saints, 818 E. Juneau Ave., Milwaukee.
Joined by organist, Christopher Berry, a brass ensemble and harp, the Choir will feature a number of works including Johann Michael Haydn's "Missa pro festo sancti innocenti" (Mass for the Feast of Holy Innocents) also known as "St. Leopold Mass," John Rutter's "Dancing Day" and many more! This candlelit performance will welcome in the holiday season with extravagant musical bliss, captivating poetry, audience sing-a-longs, and the angelic voices of Milwaukee Children's Choir. Come join the entire student body of Milwaukee Children's Choir as they welcome in the holiday season in their Trumpets Sound & Voices Raise! concert at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 15th, in Cooley Auditorium at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
