The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts announces the Live @ Peck Pavilion series in Marcus Center's Peck Pavilion that will kick off this month. This new series is sponsored by our Media Partner, OnMilwaukee.com, and will feature types of performances the Center typically presents inside the building on its newly updated grounds.
Performances are Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. starting on July 24 and will run through August 28. Reserved seating prices are available in the bowl only. Seats are $15 and are available in person at the Marcus Center Box Office at 929 North Water Street, Downtown Milwaukee, by calling 414-273-7206, online at MarcusCenter.org or Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are $10 and are available by calling 414-273-7121 ext. 210 or 213. Themed dinner packages are available from Sazama's Fine Catering.
July 24: Terrence Simien & The Zydeco Experience
For nearly 30 years, GRAMMY award winning artist Terrance Simien, 8th generation Louisiana Creole has been shattering the myths about what his indigenous Zydeco roots music is and is not. Leading his Zydeco Experience band, Simien has become one of the most respected and internationally recognized touring and recording artists in roots music today.
July 31: Steve Lippia - Simply Sinatra
STEVE LIPPIA has become one of the most prominent, in-demand vocalists and has quickly established his place among the finest interpreters of "standards" and traditional pop music in the nation. Steve's energetic talent and powerful show creates a perfect blend of "classic" with "today". His show introduces a new generation to the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, while appealing to long-time listeners.
August 7: The Florentine Opera Company
The Florentine Opera Company reflects the highest musical and theatrical standards, while supporting community and educational programs. August 14: Transit Authority

August 21: Natya Dance Theatre
Natya Dance Theatre (NDT) is amongst the most critically acclaimed and culturally treasured Indian dance companies in the United States. The professional dance company was founded in 1994 and is based in Chicago, IL. The highly innovative work of NDT offers profound and subtle expressions of humanity's deepest questions and values in the context of our present-day lives. Rooted in Bharata Natyam, one of the great classical dance forms of India, NDT preserves and perpetuates Bharata Natyam in its entire classical rigor, and moves the art form in innovative directions to foster cultural exchange through dance.
August 28: Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway
Franc D'Ambrosio is best known for his more than 2000 performances as the "Phantom" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award winning Musical, "The Phantom Of The Opera." Affectionately known as "The Iron Man of The Mask", he was awarded the distinction as the "World's Longest Running Phantom" and retained this title for over a decade. Frank will present an evening of passionate singing in his one man show Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway.
