In Tandem Theatre Announces Holiday Shows

In Tandem Theatre will present two hysterical holiday shows this season: the wildly popular musical comedy, A Cudahy Caroler Christmas by Anthony Wood, (November 29, 2013 - January 5, 2014) and the delightfully dark holiday comedy, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues by Jeff Goode, (two special performances only Mondays, December 9 and 16, 2013). Both shows will be presented at the Tenth Street Theatre, 628 N. 10th Street, Milwaukee.

In the side-splitting A Cudahy Caroler Christmas, Stasch, a former member of the beloved Cudahy Carolers, is determined to reunite all the singers following a bitter breakup five years earlier. This hysterical holiday homage to bowling, beer, friendship and forgiveness features holiday classics such as "Ach Ya' Der Once", "We T'ree Guys from Cudahy Are", and "O, Bowling Night." The show is best enjoyed by those thirteen and older. Tickets are $25 and discounts are available for seniors, students, military and groups. A special New Year's Eve performance, featuring a champagne toast, reception, sing-a-long and "fireworks" is available for $35. A Cudahy Caroler Christmas is sponsored in part by the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF), Wisconsin Arts Board and CAMPAC (County funding). The opening night reception on Friday, November 29th, featuring a champagne toast, light appetizers and "meet and greet" with the actors, is graciously sponsored by David Poethke and Leslie Feiler-Poethke. There is a special performance on New Year's Eve, December 31, at 9:30 pm followed by a champagne reception with food and a sing-along with the cast. The Eight: Reindeer Monologues is presented on two nights only (both Mondays, December 9 and 16, 2013 at 8:00 pm) as a fundraiser to benefit In Tandem Theatre. In this wickedly funny comedy, scandal erupts at the North Pole when one of Santa's reindeer accuses Jolly Ol' Saint Nick of sexual harassment. (Adult subject matter and language; ages 17 and over only.) In Tandem's Artistic Director, Chris Flieller, will direct the amazing cast, which includes Anthony Wood (playwright for A Cudahy Caroler Christmas), and Milwaukee stage favorites Angela Iannone and Jonathan West.
