BoDeans To Perform Concert at at The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 5/28

The BoDeans, one of Milwaukee's most popular and enduring bands, will celebrate the release of their ninth studio release, "Mr. Sad Clown," with a very special CD release concert on Friday, May 28 at The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.

It will be the band's only Milwaukee-area appearance of the summer.

The show will feature founding members Kurt Neumann and Sam Llanas along with band members Bukka Allen, Ryan Bowman and Mike Meadows. The band will be performing at Milwaukee's most revered and acoustically amazing venue the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. It is always special when contemporary bands can play at the home of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

This show, which will take place during Memorial Day weekend, promises to be a special show in many respects. In addition to the spectacular acoustics and sight lines offered by the venue, the Milwaukee crowd will get to see the band like they have never seen or heard it before. The BoDeans will be playing songs from their 25-year career on guitar, accordion, grand piano, keyboard, bass and percussion. This is a very special show for hometown fans.

Reserved tickets to this intimate performance, priced at $50, $45 and $40, go on sale at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 1 at the Marcus Center Box Office (414) 273-7206, Ticketmaster outlets, www.marcuscenter.org or www.ticketmaster.com.
