More than a dozen military veteran performers and artists will showcase their artwork and talent at Veterans Light Up the Arts on Friday, March 9th at Radio Milwaukee from 5:30-8pm. The art show will feature performances from area veterans as well as a reception showcasing visual pieces by local veteran artists.
Tarik Moody, US Army veteran and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee host, will be the event's Master of Ceremonies. Participating artists include:
"These individuals and groups enhance our communities by bringing their talent and dedication to their work," said Saul Newton, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce. "We are excited to highlight these veteran artists at a truly unique event bringing together veterans and supporters to empower military veterans."
