Trevor is a retired trained chimpanzee with a star-studded past. Dressed in overalls and surrounded by toys, he seems almost human. Loving owner Sandra thinks she understands him, but tension mounts as the audience, privy to Trevor’s thoughts and motives, learns otherwise. Writer Nick Jones’ (Orange is the New Black) painfully funny satire raises the question of how fully we can ever know ourselves or others. A Michigan premiere.
