Tibbits Entertainment series presents The BLT Jazz Trio at Tibbits Opera House

The BLT Jazz Trio consists of three recognized artists, concert violinist Barry Ross, vocalist Lana Hoffman, and jazz pianist Terry Lower. Enjoy upbeat, stylish renditions of the best traditional live jazz performances in this live concert that includes selections from The Great American Songbook. This performance will include special guest drummer Larry Ochiltree.The Great American Songbook consists of enduring songs that were composed within approximately the first half of the 20th Century. during the first half of the 20th Century. This was a time of extraordinary musical creativity that gave birth to so many of the most beloved jazz, Broadway and Hollywood songs by composers including Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, Harold Arlen, often with renditions by our most revered singers, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Louie Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett, and many other recognized artists whose work remains important today.
