Neil Simon’s Murder by Death, 1976 – PG, 1hr 35m (begins at 4pm)
Millionaire Lionel Twain invites five of the most brilliant private eyes to his mansion with an odd request. At midnight there will be a murder and he will give one million dollars to the one who can solve it. Then he disappears. Before long, a problem arises: The butler is found dead, and it’s long before midnight. Will the five most brilliant deductive minds of their time be able to see through the elaborate set-up staged by a criminal mastermind? This Neil Simon classic sports an all-star cast such as acting greats Peter Falk, Alec Guiness, Peter Sellers, Eileen Brennan, David Niven, and James Cromwell.
Drowning Mona, 2000 – PG-13, 1hr 36m (begins around 5:45pm)
When the car of Mona Dearly (Bette Midler), the most hated woman in Verplanck, New York, is sabotaged, resulting in her death, everyone in this eccentric small town becomes a suspect. The film also stars Danny Devito, Jamie Lee Curtis, Neve Campbell, Casey Affleck, and Will Ferrell.
